Vodkress - vodka and watercress, a fresh French experience (46).jpg

Vodka

but greener

Vodkress brings the fresh spirit of Chantilly's watercress to the forefront. A taste too exceptional to hide.

FORGET EVERYTHING YOU KNOW ABOUT VODKA

Most vodkas aim for neutrality. Vodkress aims for character.

Forget the harsh burn or the sterile finish. Imagine instead a crisp, vegetal freshness on the palate, opening up to a subtle, peppery zest that lingers.

Distilled in small batches, its singular smoothness makes it more akin to a fine eau de vie than a conventional spirit.

It’s bold enough to sip neat, and transformative in a minimalist cocktail.

This isn't a mixer. It's the main event.

it took an emperor to plant the seed

In 1811, Napoleon Bonaparte, a man of both war and culture, tasked his chief physician with a unique project: to cultivate French watercress for its renowned virtues. The goal was twofold—to keep his troops in robust health, and to delight the palates of high society.

The chosen site was a pure, natural spring of unparalleled quality within the estate of Château de Chantilly. That spring still flows today.

That same watercress, grown on that same historic terroir, is the soul of our vodka. We didn't invent a story. We just bottled a real one

The Emperor's humble cure.

Watercress is not a noble grape. It's a fragile, aquatic green with a surprisingly bold spirit.

Its cultivation cannot be industrialized; every step requires the delicate guidance of the human hand, making it a rare and precious culinary treasure.

This is what gives Vodkress its soul: The pungent, peppery heart of a plant so humble, once used to nourish soldiers, is now used by chefs to create masterpieces

It is one thing to appreciate a humble ingredient.

It is another to recognize its audacity on the palate.

Where Substance is Everything

From Chantilly, Where taste defines the art

In this land, taste is not a preference; it is a principle. An art taken so seriously, it was once a matter of life and honor.

This obsession with the perfect ingredient still defines us, from the watercress we source to the demanding chefs who share our conviction.

Vodkress is the taste of this conviction. A character so absolute, it requires no gilded label to prove its worth.
